Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage the Engineering Department which includes specifications for Materials, Production & outsource processes, Inspection & testing, and other related internal quality and customers specific quality requirements for RFQ and Order processing.
- Control of Drawing, BOM, other specification & secondary process
- Suggest as and when required, suitable cutting tools for better efficiency.
- Plan, lead & mange new product/ projects development programs
- Perform analysis study for process improvements
- Lead a team of engineers and assistant engineers to meet customers specifications.
Requirement
- Experience : minimum of 10 years
- Education : Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / CNC Machining / CADCAM or related
- Knowledge in CNC machining process (turning & Milling)
- CNC programming using CADCAM software
- Experience in precision engineering (metal based parts)
- Experience in creating process routing / process sequence
- Knowledge of secondary process and NDE requirement will be an advantage

- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, in Engineering (Mechanical / Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/ Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent
- Able to write, speak & read in Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Able to do CADCAM programming (Mastercam) is an advantage
- Experience in machining parts for oil & gas industry is an added advantage
- Able to work 12 hours rotating shift

| Responsibilities |
|
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications/dimensions, conducting visual and measurements tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications/dimensions, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications/dimensions, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, confirming re-work
- Verification on reports completion upon receive from production
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions & follow up calibration

- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent
- Able to write, speak & read in Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 3 years of working experience in oil & gas or precision engineering.
- Able to use gage maker equipment
- Ability to operate CMM is an added advantage.
- Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
